2019 Volkswagen Beetle S 

The base trim is the 2019 VW Beetle S. It runs on a 2.0L TSI® 4-cylinder engine that gets up to 174 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque.

Working with the engine, you’ll find a handy 6-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic® and Sport mode. This gives you the freedom to manually control the gear shifting without a clutch.

All trim levels of the 2019 VW Beetle come standard with this powertrain and transmission.

The body is available as either a coupe or a convertible. It’s fitted with 16-inch wheels, a rear spoiler, and sport-designed front and rear bumpers.

Inside, there’s a three-spoke, leather-wrapped, multi-function steering wheel and a leather-wrapped gearshift knob.

Directly in front of that, there’s a multi-function trip computer with information, such as your average trip speed, current fuel consumption, and miles until empty.

For your infotainment, there’s a Composition Color 5-inch touchscreen sound system. This is Bluetooth®-compatible for streaming, but there’s also a USB port.

Your dashboard-mounted screen also helps when you’re backing up by displaying a live video feed from your Rear View Camera System.

2019 Volkswagen Beetle S with Style & Comfort

Our next trim is the 2019 VW Beetle S with Style & Comfort. It uses technology and design features to enhance your drive.

This trim sits slightly higher with 17-inch wheels, while the side mirrors really stand out. They’re now heated and power-operated with integrated turn signals.

The interior glass gets an upgrade, too, with an auto-dimming rearview mirror helping diminish glare.

Once you take a seat, you’ll feel the difference right away with V-Tex leatherette seating surfaces and heated front seats.

Your infotainment center gets upgraded to a Composition Media 6.3-inch touchscreen sound system with HD Radio™ and voice control.

It’s also been equipped with the Volkswagen Car-Net® App-Connect system to give you navigation and entertainment options, such as SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, Apple CarPlay™, and Android Auto™.

Smart technology also helps you get in and out of the VW Beetle more easily with keyless access and a push-button start. 

2019 Volkswagen Beetle Coast 

There’s some added style and safety features in the 2019 VW Beetle Coast.

As soon as you take a seat inside, you’ll notice the surfboard-looking dashboard and gloss black door trim. Plus, there’s stylish Pepita cloth seating surfaces.

To give you more awareness during your drive, a Blind Spot Monitor watches out for you and lets you know when it’s safe to change lanes.

A Rear Traffic Alert makes backing up even easier by using radar to detect incoming cars before they cross through your Rear View Camera System.

2019 Volkswagen Beetle SE 

The next trim is the 2019 VW Beetle SE and it’s ready for any environment. Inside, there’s Climatronic® dual-zone automatic climate control to set the perfect atmosphere, while outside, there’s heated windshield washer nozzles.

You’ll also get the convenience of Volkswagen Car-Net Security & Service. It lets you check where you parked, find parking, and double-check that you locked the doors from your smartphone.

2019 Volkswagen Beetle Dune

The 2019 VW Beetle Dune is the final trim level. It features 18-inch wheels and a raised suspension and wider track for a sportier drive.

The interior also has a style all its own with Dune seating surfaces with cloth inserts, V-Tex leatherette trim, and yellow piping.

You’ll hear your music and navigation clearer than ever, too, with the standard Fender® Premium Audio System.

It’s also the most capable trim for getting in and out of tight spaces thanks to Park Distance Control. Sensors on both the front and rear bumpers send you audio alerts as you get closer to cars in front and behind you.
