Available 4MOTION® All-Wheel-Drive 
When you need a vehicle that’s ready for all seasons, you want something that’s ready to go with all four wheels. Enter the 2020 VW Tiguan, this vehicle is equipped with available 4MOTION® all-wheel drive. This driveline applies torque to all four of your wheels for added control while moving through more rugged terrain.
What’s unique about this driveline system is that it uses sensors that constantly monitor your wheels for slippage. When one of your wheels shows signs of traction loss, your vehicle will apply more torque to that wheel to even it out. Your handling will be seamless as your vehicle actively corrects your wheels, and you enjoy greatly improved cornering a control.
2020 VW Tiguan: Raw Turbocharged Power
One of the best things about so many VW vehicles is their use of turbocharging, and the VW Tiguan is certainly no exception. This vehicle is equipped with a standard 2.0L turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine. You’ll be working with up to 184 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque, all with up to an EPA-estimated 22 city and 29 highway MPG.1
This engine is paired up with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic® and Sport Mode. This transmission provides plenty of gears to work with along with the Tiptronic® system, which lets you upshift on demand. Best of all, the Sport Mode tunes your drivetrain to offer improved handling and acceleration.
Advanced Driver Assistance Features
To make sure all those little details are taken care of, the VW Tiguan features all sorts of driver assistance systems. Among these features is an available Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers system. These wipers are designed to detect when rain is hitting your vehicle. They will automatically start wiping and they will even match the speed of the rain as well.
What’s especially impressive is the available Overhead View Camera aboard this vehicle as well. Using numerous cameras all along the vehicle, this SUV can create a composite image of what’s around you. This feature is a huge help when you’re trying to get a clear view of what’s around you while backing up. Nothing will get past you, thanks to these cameras.
